Leading with Ease and Joy
Bringing confidence, clarity, and authenticity to your leadership and the spaces you shape
This is a small-group online leadership program for women leaders who want to bring more confidence, clarity, and joy to how they show up at work, in their families, and in relationships.
We are leading in a time of constant change, uncertainty, and increasing complexity. The pace, scope, and stakes of leadership today are different than they were even a decade ago. Many of us are still drawing on ways of leading that were shaped for more stable conditions - and so it’s no surprise that these approaches begin to feel effortful, limiting, or simply no longer fit. Few of us have had role models for what leadership with ease and joy looks like in times like these. Leading well now calls for updating how we operate to match the realities we’re in.
This program offers a confidential, peer-based space to slow down, think well together, and reconnect with a form of leadership that is grounded in self-trust. Each session blends short teaching, guided reflection, and facilitated dialogue, allowing the real challenges participants bring to become the material for learning.
What is unique about this offering is that in addition to the usual leadership topics like emotional intelligence and regulation and communication skills, we will also delve into context awareness. How are the written and unwritten rules and ways of operating inherent to your home, school, or work place, or even your social order impacting the ways you and others think, feel, and act? Seeing our contexts, especially when we are overtaxed or facing change and complexity, does not appear to be second nature - but it can greatly facilitate our effectiveness as leaders of ourselves and with others.
The result is a steadier, more embodied confidence - one that supports both you, and the spaces you shape, to thrive - even amid uncertainty. One that ripples out to your relationships, your people.
This is about aligning how you show up with what you want to create, and developing the capacity to lead change with clarity, ease, intention, and joy.
-
Participants will learn how to:
Read and trust their inner signals - emotion, attention, and body cues - as reliable sources of information
Stay grounded and present in moments of uncertainty, pressure, or change, rather than bracing, rushing, or checking out
Understand how nervous systems shape behavior and leadership, increasing compassion, flexibility, and choice in how they relate to themselves and others
Communicate with clarity and steadiness, setting boundaries and expectations in ways that that stick and build trust
Make sense of the wider forces at play in our contexts - social, cultural, and organizational - so that choices are informed by the facts and do not feel personal or isolating
Make decisions that feel aligned and intentional, even when the path forward isn’t fully clear
Lead from a place of inner alignment and confidence, bringing more ease, joy, and momentum to what they take on
-
A small group of women leaders (max 10) will join together over Zoom for 90 minutes once per week for 8 weeks. Our first session will be introductory, followed by 6 thematic sessions, and closing with an integration session in our 8th meeting together.

These themes are about integrating what you already know - so that your capacity to lead yourself and with others feels clearer, more confident, and more alive, even in uncertainty and change
1. Emotion, awareness, and staying present under pressure
(Staying grounded and clear in uncertainty)You will:
recognize emotional signals as information
learn simple, effective ways to pause, reorient, and choose how you want to respond
practice staying present under pressure and responding rather than reacting
Shift: from “managing emotions” to processing the information you take in and trusting your read of it
2. Nervous systems, regulation, and difference
(Reading and regulating yourself and those around you)
You will:learn basic nervous system functioning to deepen your own capacity for regulation and co-regulation.
develop greater understanding of and compassion for your own patterns and others’ ways of operating
Shift: from “self-care or withdrawal” to capacity, resilience, and relational effectiveness
3. Our ways of being and their origins
(What you learned, what still serves, and what’s ready to change)You will:
identify patterns shaped by formative roles, relationships, and expectations
distinguish between approaches that were adaptive in the past and those that are still aligned now
expand choice in how you respond, lead, and relate in the present
Shift: from “I’m just like that” to discernment and agency
4. Communication, listening, and boundaries
(Clarity without hardness; connection without self-erasure)You will:
practice listening in ways that build trust without fixing or defending
communicate clearly and directly without escalation, over-explaining, or withdrawal
set and hold boundaries that support both effectiveness and relationship
Shift: from “communication skills” to relational leadership
5. Making sense of the contexts we’re leading
(Complexity, systems, and the wider forces at play)You will:
better understand how organizational, social, and cultural contexts shape leadership realities
be able to identify drama and shift it to empowerment for yourself and your teams
See the bigger picture and be able to mobilize by increasing perspective and reducing isolation
Shift: from “this is hard” → clearly understanding and speaking to our current context
6. Trusting yourself and choosing what’s next
(Direction, discernment, and leading with confidence)You will:
clarify what matters most now, given your current life and leadership context
practice making decisions grounded in self-trust rather than urgency or external pressure
leave with a clearer sense of direction and the confidence to take on what’s next
Shift: from “figuring it out” → leading forward with intention

Individuals
I worked with Gillian after suffering a burn out and then subsequently while making a career transition. This being my first experience working with a coach, I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but through active listening, she helped me decipher what I was seeking in terms of a career, what values I wanted to look for in a new workplace, weigh job offers and prepare for salary conversations.
Gillian has a keen ability of helping you connect the dots to reach a conclusion that felt unattainable at the start of the session; and her approach is extremely compassionate, supportive and pragmatic.

Groups
I participated in a workshop led by Gillian. From the very beginning, her energy felt beautiful to me. The motivational activities she proposed were varied, and she knew how to channel the essence of our group. I feel there was a time for everything: we had moments for group and personal reflection, for getting to know our colleagues (in my case, as I was new to the group), moments of humor, and a good balance with rest.
I felt truly listened to by Gillian, who took the time to make thoughtful comments about what was happening within our group. What I liked the most was the very personal way in which she communicated with us, and through which—at least for me—she made me feel like part of the team.

Consulting
Gillian’s genius lies in her ability to fuse creativity with strategy, making her not just a visionary thinker, but also an impactful performer. Where others see problems, she sees possibilities, treating each challenge as an opportunity for innovation and growth. Her out-of-the-box thinking is rooted in a sharp strategic mind that sees the bigger picture.
What sets Gillian apart is how she creates trust, inspires and engages others. She inspires those around her through her creativity; relentless hard work, unwavering determination, and empathy. Even in high-pressure situations, she maintains her authenticity, clarity and perspective, not losing sight of her values or the human side of the equation.
