Understanding Neurotypes: ADHD and Autism
This workshop is for parents, leaders, coaches, and educators who want to better understand ADHD and Autism - not just conceptually, but in real, human ways.
Using creativity, play, and experiential learning, you’ll explore how different neurotypes experience the world - and develop practical skills to stay connected, communicate clearly, and respond to what’s really happening underneath behaviour.
Most of us were never taught how to understand differences in how people think, feel, and process.
So when things get hard, we default to correcting behaviour, pushing for compliance, or feeling stuck and unsure how to respond.
But what looks like resistance or disconnection is sometimes a bid for connection that you don’t want to miss.
This workshop helps you see and respond to what’s actually there - so connection, trust, and capacity can grow.
Morning Session (10:00–12:30) - ADHD
Explore the ADHD neurotype through storytelling, games, and experiential learning.
Afternoon Session (2:00–4:30) - Autism
Explore the Autism neurotype through storytelling, games, and experiential learning.
Each session stands on its own - but together, they create a fuller picture.
The skill-building across both sessions is designed to build progressively, giving you a deeper understanding of how different neurotypes interact - and how to create the conditions where connection and capacity can actually hold.
You’ll leave with: a clearer understanding of ADHD and Autism experiences, tools to read behaviour as communication, practical ways to respond with clarity instead of reactivity, skills to build and maintain connection - even when things feel hard

Individuals
I worked with Gillian after suffering a burn out and then subsequently while making a career transition. This being my first experience working with a coach, I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but through active listening, she helped me decipher what I was seeking in terms of a career, what values I wanted to look for in a new workplace, weigh job offers and prepare for salary conversations.
Gillian has a keen ability of helping you connect the dots to reach a conclusion that felt unattainable at the start of the session; and her approach is extremely compassionate, supportive and pragmatic.

Groups
I participated in a workshop led by Gillian. From the very beginning, her energy felt beautiful to me. The motivational activities she proposed were varied, and she knew how to channel the essence of our group. I feel there was a time for everything: we had moments for group and personal reflection, for getting to know our colleagues (in my case, as I was new to the group), moments of humor, and a good balance with rest.
I felt truly listened to by Gillian, who took the time to make thoughtful comments about what was happening within our group. What I liked the most was the very personal way in which she communicated with us, and through which—at least for me—she made me feel like part of the team.

Gillian’s genius lies in her ability to fuse creativity with strategy, making her not just a visionary thinker, but also an impactful performer. Where others see problems, she sees possibilities, treating each challenge as an opportunity for innovation and growth. Her out-of-the-box thinking is rooted in a sharp strategic mind that sees the bigger picture.
What sets Gillian apart is how she creates trust, inspires and engages others. She inspires those around her through her creativity; relentless hard work, unwavering determination, and empathy. Even in high-pressure situations, she maintains her authenticity, clarity and perspective, not losing sight of her values or the human side of the equation.
