The RESET Room
for people under 30
Rooms offered throughout the year
À la carte | Small groups | 90 minutes
Practical skills + real conversation + connection
You’re building a life while you’re getting a degree.
You're choosing a career. Managing money. Making friends. Navigating relationships. Trying to build a network. Figuring out what you're good at, what you care about, and what kind of life you actually want.
Oh, and you're supposed to succeed academically while you're at it. It’s a lot, and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
The RESET Room is a series of social learning experiences for university students about the parts of becoming an adult that don't always make it into the curriculum.
Come to one. Come to five. Choose the Rooms that speak to what you're figuring out right now.
You'll meet interesting people, learn useful things, have real conversations, try stuff out - and hopefully leave knowing a little more about yourself, other people, and the world you're stepping into.
Come as you are. Leave with more of yourself.
What's a Room?
Not quite a workshop. Definitely not a lecture.
Each RESET Room brings together a small group of students around a question, skill or part of life worth exploring.
Some Rooms will feature people with experience and perspectives worth hearing. Some will be hands-on. Some will teach you a skill. Some will give you a chance to talk about things we don't talk about enough. Most will do a little of all of that.
What they have in common is space to step out of the noise, get curious, connect with other people and figure some things out together.
You don't need to have experience. You don't need to know what you think. And you definitely don't need to have your life figured out.
Choose your Room
KICK OFF: START WITH A RESET
University comes with a lot of expectations about what you should do, who you should be, and where you should be headed. Step out of the noise, connect with other students, and make some space to figure out what you want from the year ahead.
October 1, 2026, in Person on McGill Campus, Montreal. Info + Registration.
UNLOCK YOUR CREATIVITY
You don't have to be an artist to be creative. Explore what gets your ideas moving, what shuts them down, and how to get more comfortable making, experimenting and putting something into the world before you know whether it's any good.
MONEY, WORK & BUILDING WEALTH
Nobody hands you a manual for money either. Get more comfortable talking about it and explore earning, spending, saving, investing and building a financial life that gives you more choice.
WHAT I WISH I’D KNOWN BEFORE BECOMING A PARENT
We spend a lot of time thinking about whether we want kids. Less time thinking about who we become when we have them. Explore nervous systems, attachment, communication, expectations and the patterns we inherit — before you have a small human pushing every button you didn't know you had.
SHIFT THE STORIES YOU TELL
From Drama → Empowerment
Ever notice how quickly your brain can turn something that happened into an entire story about you, someone else, or what happens next? Learn to catch the stories you're telling, see what else might be true, and find where you have more choice than you thought.
UNDERSTANDING DIFFERENT MINDS
ADHD, Autism & "Neurotypical"
Why can one person thrive in a situation that completely overwhelms someone else? Explore different neurologies and nervous systems - and what understanding other people's brains can teach you about your own.
THE UNIVERSITY OF THE FUTURE
If we were building university for the world you're actually entering, what would we keep? What would we blow up? What would we create? A collaborative lab for imagining - and potentially influencing - what higher education could become.
ATTUNED LISTENING
Learn to listen beyond waiting for your turn to talk. Practice hearing what's actually being said, noticing what isn't, and helping another person feel understood without immediately trying to fix them.
CLEAN COMMUNICATION
Say what you mean without making the other person the problem. Learn practical ways to communicate what you're noticing, what you need and what you want - especially when things get uncomfortable.
GIVING FEEDBACK PEOPLE CAN HEAR
Giving honest feedback without making things weird is a skill. Practice saying the thing clearly, staying connected while you say it, and making feedback something that can actually help rather than shut someone down.
Keep up to date on upcoming rooms and shape what we create
Tell us what you're figuring out. The RESET Room is being built with students, not just for them. We'll continue adding Rooms based on the questions, challenges and ideas students bring us. Stay tuned on Rooms as they are announced and have your say in what they look like:
Emerging Leaders Masterclass
January–March 2027
Bi-weekly | Small cohort | 3 months
90 mins of peer learning + coaching + practical leadership skill-building
You got the job. Now you have to lead.
You got the promotion. Landed the new role. Suddenly people are looking to you for answers, decisions, feedback and direction.
You're expected to speak up in rooms where you're not always sure your idea is good enough. Navigate difficult people and conversations. Get others behind an idea. Deal with the person who isn't on board. Know when to step in and when to get out of the way.
And somehow you're supposed to learn how to lead while you're already doing it.
The Emerging Leadership Masterclass is a three-month learning, group coaching and peer-support experience designed for you.
Bring the situations you're actually dealing with. Together, we'll build the skills - and the confidence - to trust what you see, contribute what you think, handle people and conversations with greater ease, and intentionally create the dynamics you want on your team.
Not so you have all the answers.
So you can lead even when you don't.
What we'll build
As you grow as a leader, more of your job happens without certainty.
You have to form a point of view before you have all the information. Share an idea before you know whether it's a good one. Raise your hand when something doesn't make sense. Disagree with someone more senior. Give feedback. Make a call. Get people behind an idea that's still taking shape.
That takes more than leadership knowledge. It takes confidence in your own judgment - and the capacity to stay open enough to discover when you might be wrong.
That's what we'll practice.
I'll bring tools and practices from The REALITY Practice, and the group will help shape where we spend our time based on what you're actually encountering as leaders.
We might work on how to:
trust your judgment without needing to be certain
speak up, share ideas and contribute your thinking before it's perfectly formed
notice the stories and assumptions that make you hold back - or push too hard
communicate clearly when the stakes are high
listen in ways that give you better information
disagree, challenge and ask better questions without shutting people down or feeling like you offended them
influence without controlling
navigate conflict, difference and difficult dynamics
coach rather than automatically solve
create the conditions for people to contribute their own ideas, collaborate and take ownership
stay present and make good choices when things get uncertain, uncomfortable or messy
You'll learn new ideas and practical skills. You'll try them. You'll bring back what happened. And you'll have a room where you can test your thinking, say the thing you're not sure is smart, be challenged, receive support, and develop confidence in what you bring to the table.
The goal isn't to teach you the right way to lead. It's to help you become more confident in what you see, what you think and what you have to offer - while staying curious enough to keep seeing more, and becoming more intentional about the culture you create around you.
Come with your challenges. Leave with more capacity to meet them.
Have an impact people want to be part of.
You have a vision. Priorities. Smart people around you. Maybe even a strategic plan everyone agreed to. And still, things don't always move the way you imagined.
People interpret the vision differently. Priorities compete. Decisions get made but don't quite translate into action. You need buy-in from people you don't manage, collaboration across boundaries you don't control, and enough alignment to move forward without waiting for everyone to agree.
You want to have impact. And you care about how you do it.
You want to be the leader people trust with the hard stuff. The one who can move things forward without running people over. Who sees what others miss, asks the question that changes the conversation, brings people together around something worth doing, and creates the conditions for others to do some of their best thinking and work.
The kind of leader people talk about years later - not only because of what you accomplished, but because of who they became and what became possible around you.
The Executive Leadership Mastermind is a three-month facilitated peer coaching and learning experience for experienced leaders who want to increase their impact without losing the human centre of their leadership.
Bring the vision you're trying to realize. The initiative that isn't moving. The team that could be operating at another level. The stakeholder you can't quite reach. The decision with no obvious right answer. The organizational dynamic you can feel but haven't figured out how to shift. We'll work with what's actually happening.
Together, we'll strengthen your capacity to see the system more clearly, create meaningful alignment, expand your influence, mobilize the intelligence around you, and build the conditions for people to take ownership of where you're going together.
What we'll build
The more senior you become, the less you can accomplish through your own effort.
Your impact increasingly depends on what happens around you: what people understand, what they believe, what they notice, what they say when you're not in the room, how decisions travel, where energy gathers, where resistance emerges, and whether people experience themselves as responsible for the outcome.
That requires a different kind of leadership.
Not more control. Greater capacity to see what's actually happening and work with it.
I'll bring tools and practices from The REALITY Practice, and the group will help determine where we go based on the real leadership challenges in the room.
We might work on how to:
turn vision into something people can see themselves in act on, and lead others toward
create alignment without requiring uniformity or agreement
build trust and credibility across roles, functions and levels of authority
understand what's actually underneath resistance, inertia or competing priorities
expand your influence without relying on positional authority
surface perspectives and information that aren't naturally reaching you
communicate in ways that create clarity, agency and ownership
work with conflict and difference without flattening either
create accountability without becoming the person who carries everything
notice the impact your presence, behaviour and decisions have on the people around you
create the conditions for other people to bring more of their judgment, creativity and intelligence
know when to intervene, when to invite, and when to get out of the way
make consequential decisions when the picture is incomplete
This isn't a room where you need to perform being the executive who has it figured out. It's a room to bring the things you haven't figured out yet.
You'll test your thinking with other experienced leaders. Hear perspectives you wouldn't have reached on your own. Be coached and challenged. Experiment with different approaches and come back with what happened.
The measure isn't simply whether you achieve the vision. It's what you make possible - and what it is like for people to build it with you.
Be known for what you made possible - and how people grew around you.
