The REALITY Practice
Leadership for when there’s no easy answers
Leading through uncertainty and change is hard. Budgets, markets and expectations are shifting. AI is transforming how we work - maybe even how we think. There is polarization and polycrisis. It’s a lot, no matter what your role.
It’s a biological reality that human beings don’t always operate at our best in these conditions.
When we don’t feel safe, we narrow. We speed up. We miss information. Old patterns take over. We reach for certainty and control. As a leader, this can feel like exactly what the moment calls for. After all, it’s your neck on the line. But too reactive and too much control can narrow what your organization is capable of at exactly the moment you need more.
Uncertainty asks something different of us.
Staying present with what is actually happening - before rushing in to solve it - helps us see more of the picture, access the intelligence around us, and respond to what is emerging rather than react from fear with patterns built for the past.
There’s more. When people experience leadership that makes room for their authentic intelligence, they contribute more of themselves. They speak up. They take ownership. They find meaning in what they’re building together. Work becomes a place of energy, connection and possibility - even when what comes next isn’t clear.
Flourishing people. Flourishing purpose. Two birds, one seed.
The Reality Practice™ is a growing body of simple tools, insights and experiences for building our capacity to move with uncertainty. No massive overhaul required. Small shifts in how we notice, relate and respond can change what becomes possible - within ourselves, between us, and in the systems and environments we’re part of.
Because whatever you’re trying to change, create or navigate, you can do more with what’s actually happening than with what you wish or assume to be true.

Signature Experiences
I work with you to design what your people need.
Signature Experiences offer a sense what we can build. All experiences can be a keynote, a workshop, or a mix of both.
Through guided practices, interactive moments, and simple experiential exercises, audiences don’t just hear the ideas; they feel the shift. This is learning that sticks - because people experience themselves and each other differently in it.

Belonging isn't a culture initiative - it's an innovation strategy.
Organizations and classrooms need different minds, perspectives, and ways of working to navigate complexity, yet we often create conditions that drive difference underground. When organizations and classrooms learn how to make space for deeper authenticity and create conditions where people feel seen, understood, and a sense of being part of something bigger - their contribution feels like a joy, they take ownership, collaborate more, innovate, and experience trust. What’s more, they experience increased feelings of capacity for their lives, their work, their relationships, their goals. They feel a sense of balance and fulfilment.
This is how you want your people to feel. But you already knew that!
This keynote/workshop explores how leaders can create the conditions where difference isn't simply included, but understood as the foundation for collective intelligence, innovation and possibility.

Leading through uncertainty and change is hard.
Budgets, markets and expectations are shifting. AI is transforming how we work - maybe even how we think. There is polarization and polycrisis. It’s a lot, no matter what your role. It’s a biological reality that human beings don’t always operate at our best under these conditions.
When we don’t feel safe, we narrow. We speed up. We miss information. Old patterns take over. We reach for certainty and control. But too much control can narrow what your organization is capable of at exactly the moment you need it to be expansive.
This keynote/workshop introduces a practical framework for reversing that pattern: helping leaders create environments where others find meaning in the work or the learning; a sense of belonging to something greater. Where we thrive not despite uncertainty and change, but energized by it.

Raising a neurodivergent kid made me a better leader.
Explore neurodivergence as a source of creativity, insight and innovation - and experience just how narrow your own default view of reality can be.
As I learned leadership development, I often found it much easier to practice at work than at home. Home pushed the learning further. It asked more of my capacity to listen, stay curious, regulate myself, and loosen my grip on how I thought things should work.
And something else happened: learning about other neurologies and nervous systems helped me understand my own better.
Because once you discover that someone else can experience the same world very differently, you start to see your own way of experiencing it as just that: a way, not the way.
Through a neuroplural lens, this keynote/workshop explores what human difference can teach us about perception, belonging and leadership - and how seeing more of reality helps us create the conditions for more people to bring more of their genius to the vision.

Come as you are, leave with more of yourself, and connection with like minded peers.
Specially designed for people under 30.In a world full of messages about who to be, what to achieve, and where to go next, it can be surprisingly hard to hear your own voice.
This keynote/experience invites participants to pause, notice, and name what’s happening inside - building the awareness to recognize their needs, values, and boundaries, and distinguish what they actually want from the hoops they think they’re supposed to jump through.
Participants explore how to show up with greater clarity, intention, and choice and leave with a sense of who they are and what they want in life.
