Hi, I’m Gillian These are the energies that I notice flowing through my life and that offer a sense of who I am.
The Seeker is an energy that strives to expand contact with reality. Its a voracious learner energy that I sometimes find myself trying to make small, since it can feel esoteric at times. It’s what took me to Philosophy & History, Leadership, Coaching, psychedelic medicine, meditation, and Somatic Experiencing.
The Artist is an energy that was neglected too early and came back with a raging fury in my mid life, trying to make sure I create a life’s work, a legacy. Sometimes I feel addicted to the dopamine release of creating. This looks like connecting ideas and shifting perspectives primarily through speaking and writing, as well exploration of music and movement.
The Leader first emerged at summer camp. Where I first felt really seen, where nature energized me, and where the chance to do good in the world first lit my light. More recently, this looks like leading my family and executive leadership of a team of 150 at Canada’s leading university, and many things in between.
The Parent of a neurodivergent kid has been worked. There’s a few ways to meet your reckoning. This beautiful journey is one that profoundly shaped me and my leadership, and gave me some of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.
The Lawyer. My friends tend to be in awe when they finally find out I’m also a lawyer. Possibly the weirdest thing about me - my transystemic legal education at McGill University was one of my first forays into systems analysis - and what an unbelievably rich foundation!

This mix of professional depth and lived experience allows me to meet people where they are - with rigour and compassion, structure and creativity - and to support change that is not just understood, but lived.
At it’s core, my work is about intention and integration: moving beyond insight alone and into aligned ways of being and living.
Learning to stay present with discomfort, identifying our assumptions and the stories we tell, loosening the grip of self-doubt, and designing lives and ways of working that are coherently generative rather than extractive.
Build a life, a team, an organization with intention
